AG Addiction

Sometimes I think I'm cleverer than I really am (like now), so I'm re-posting my post from another thread.

Therefore I offer here, my 10 Guidelines for the True AG Addict [img]smile.gif[/img]

1. Listen to prasnlrd

2. Look at all albums of other members' dolls

3. Make wishlists of desired dolls, outfits, accessories, etc.

4. Learn to sew, just to be able to make clothes for your AG's

5. Learn to knit, so you can knit scarves and sweaters, etc. for your AG's

6. Get Sculpy or FIMO clay on sale, so you can make doll food

7. Cruise thrift stores and dollar stores regularly, for bargains on dolls or doll-related items

8. Watch the AG website for monthly specials

9. Join Imagestation, and post your own albums of your dolls and their adventures

10. Hold your head up high, and practice saying, with dignity, "This is a legitimate adult hobby."

An extra one, which goes with out saying, reads--

11. Spend more time on AGFMB than on housework, or any other "real life" tasks.

I actually asked my mom to teach me to knit so I can make stuff for my dolls, so that's really appropriate... And I'm gonna learn how to sew, haha.

I'm going to sign up to take sewing classes next month at a local craft store... bet you can guess what I want to learn how to sew! My grandma is also going to teach me how to knit and crochet. I can't wait!

I always make wishlist of the AG stuff I want!
I am actually learning to sew today! I am attempting to make an outfit for one of my dolls. [img]smile.gif[/img]
I am probley going to learn how to knit too.
I go to thrift stores, but they NEVER have AG stuff there. [img]frown.gif[/img]
Yup, I've joined Imagestation, and I have a lot of albums.
And I spend WAY to much time than I should on here I should be studing more lol. [img]tongue.gif[/img] [img]redface.gif[/img]

LOL, Robin! You are indeed very clever to come up with such a list! I'm not even going to admit how many of the eleven guidelines apply to me, but I'll say that it is more than half!

The worst part (or best part depending on how you look at it) is that while reading down the list I was mentally making little "check, check, check again" marks by nearly all of your criteria!

How appropriate for you to post this today, since I just got off the phone with AGCS regarding that free shipping offer and placing an order to take advantage of it!
